A host of 2014 freshman are a year older. How much better will Tulane be in 2015? The answers begin to arrive Thursday night as the Wave kicks off its 2015 season against Duke at Yulman stadium.
Last season, Tulane won 3, Duke won 9. In three seasons, head coach Curtis Johnson has not claimed a win over a power 5 team. Johnson hopes that the stifling Louisiana heat, even for an 8:34 pm kickoff will be a plus for the Green Wave.
Quarterback Tanner Lee makes his 11th career start. Lee was asked if Tulane has some special things cooked up on offense for Thursday night.
