NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide in the Lower Garden District on Sunday (Jan. 29th).

According to reports, around 8:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2000 block of Constance Street. At the scene, deputies said they found a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. His identity has been withheld upon the completion of an autopsy.
