NEW ORLEANS – Councilman Williams will be trading his title for a new one, District Attorney of Orleans Parish.
Williams edged out his opponent, Keva Landrum, with 57% of the vote. This even with the federal tax indictment of Williams. Williams has maintained his innocence and says that the tax charges are politically motivated.
