NEW ORLEANS – Here’s a running list of schools, colleges, universities and government offices closed due to Tropical Storm Sally.

• All Catholic schools in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux – closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New Orleans – closed Tuesday
• All Catholic schools in Plaquemines Parish – closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Catholic schools in St. Charles Parish – closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Catholic schools in St. John the Baptist Parish – closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Catholic schools in St. Bernard Parish – closed Monday and Tuesday
• All St. Tammany Parish public schools – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Washington Parish Schools – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Jefferson Parish public schools – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Lafourche Parish schools – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Plaquemines Parish schools – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• All Hancock County schools – Closed Tuesday
• St. Bernard Parish public schools – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• All St. John the Baptist Parish public schools – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• Athlos Academy of Jefferson Parish (in-class and distance learning) – closed Monday and Tuesday
• Belle Chasse Academy – Closed on Monday and Tuesday
• Holy Cross School – closed Monday and Tuesday, NO virtual classes
• Trinity Episcopal School – Closed on Tuesday
• Belle Chasse Academy – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• Jewish Community Day School of Greater New Orleans – Closed Tuesday
• New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary/ Leavell College- Closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
• Herzing University – Closed Tuesday
• Little Gate (early childhood program) – Closed Tuesday
• Louise S. McGehee School of Orleans Parish – Closed Tuesday
• Xavier University – Classes before 5pm on Monday will be held as usual. Classes after 5pm on Monday will be virtual. All Tuesday classes are cancelled.
• Loyola University New Orleans – Open as normal Monday, until 4 p.m. Evening classes on Monday are suspended. Operations will be suspended Tuesday, Sept. 15.
• Delgado Community College – Virtual classes ONLY on Monday
• Nunez College (virtual classes will still be held) – In-person closed Monday and Tuesday
• University of New Orleans – Virtual classes ONLY on Monday, all classes cancelled on Tuesday
• Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Belle Chasse – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• Northshore Technical Community College – Closed Tuesday
• Nicholls State University – Campus closure beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, going through Wednesday
• West Jefferson Medical Center – Closed for outpatient and surgeries Tuesday
• Children’s Hospital – Clinics will open at 1 p.m. on Tuesday
• New Orleans East Hospital will resume clinic operations at 12 noon.

• Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chalmette – Closed Monday and Tuesday
• University of Holy Cross’ campus – Closed Monday and Tuesday
•  St. Katharine Drexel Preparatory School – OPEN for virtual learning only on Monday, CLOSED on Tuesday for all
