The immediate New Orleans area is not included in this new watch. However areas to the southwest and west down through Terrebonne Parish are included. This will be for storms to the north that will be moving south through the evening.
The main threat with these storms will be strong wind gusts. An isolated tornado will also be possible. Have a way to receive warnings through the day.
