METAIRIE, La. — Another round of heavy rainfall moving through the area, prompting street flooding and power outages.
Beginning around 8:30 a.m. there were more than 5,000 Jefferson Parish residents in the dark.
The numbers were dropping slowly, and by noon, only a little more than 100 residents were still without power.
