NEW ORLEANS — In Jefferson Parish, drainage pump stations are fully staffed, as are public works crews. Entergy is on-hand as well in case of any unforeseen power outages.

The same goes for all parishes in the greater New Orleans area as tropical weather moves in Tuesday afternoon. Three-six inches of rain are expected, with some areas seeing up to 10 inches of rain.

St. Tammany Parish leaders will announce any emergency preparedness plans through local media and on their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
