(WGNO) – Hurricane Edouard had a healthy weekend swimming in the Atlantic, and it is forecast to become a category 3 Monday night making it the first major hurricane of the season.
Luckily, Edouard is expected to track away from any land mass.
WGNO meteorologist Jeff Robbins says, “Edouard should begin weakening on Wednesday as it heads farther to the northeast towards the cooler waters of the north Atlantic.”
All other tropical activity has quieted down.
