On Thursday, Jan. 9, Louisiana is remembering Nikyra Dedeaux, a victim of the Jan. 1 Bourbon Street attack.

From January 13 to January 19, multiple restaurants and bars in the French quarter will be participating in the Fleur Du Coeur, a promotion set to raise funds for the families of the bourbon street attack victims.

According to police, the crime happened around 3:00 in the afternoon on Dec. 30 in the 1600 block of St. Roch Avenue. At the scene, police found a man with gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital.
