WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.V. (WGNO) – Even though contract talks have apparently stalled, Saints quarterback Drew Brees said his relationship with the Saints and general manager Mickey Loomis is just fine.
Brees spoke to the media Thursday, after the first practice of summer camp in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
“Nothing is adversarial. I have a great relationship with Mickey Loomis and have since I have been here,” Brees told reporters.
Offensive tackle Zach Strief said Brees’ no deal wouldn’t be an issue for the 2016 Saints. Strief called Brees “a weirdo” for the way he is able to focus in on a task.
