NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Saints (8-8) are still in the NFC playoff hunt with an 18-10 win over the Carolina Panthers (5-11) on Sunday afternoon at the Caesars Superdome.

The Saints were coming off of a 20-3 loss to the Dolphins on Monday night, but returned a number of players from the Reserve/COVID-19 list including quarterback Taysom Hill and linebacker Demario Davis.

New Orleans went without a touchdown for 11 straight quarters until Hill hit Alvin Kamara on a 12-yard pass to seal the victory and avenge a Week 2 loss to their NFC South rival.

Defensive end Cam Jordan recorded 3.5 of the Saints’ seven sacks on the game, as New Orleans held Carolina to 178 total yards on the game, including just 90 yards passing, 88 yards rushing.

Jordan has been on fire as of late, recording 7.5 sacks in the last three games.
