NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — St. Charles Catholic Comets (11-0) ended their undefeated season by snapping Lafayette Christian’s (10-2) streak of four straight state championships with a 32-27 win at Yulman Stadium in the Division III title game.
It was a bit of redemption for the Comets, who had lost to the Knights in the finals the past two seasons.
