NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – About five hours after news first broke that Jimmy Graham was traded to the Seattle Seahawks, the former Saint responded on Twitter. But not in a tweet.
Graham updated his bio to simply say, “Traded.”
The New Orleans Saints traded tight end Jimmy Graham and a 2015 fourth-round pick to Seattle Tuesday and received center Max Unger and a 2015 first-round draft pick.
According to ESPN Insider, John Clayton, Graham is expected to make $27 million over the next three years.
On Tuesday, many of Graham’s teammates responded with shock.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees told the NFL Network, “I’m as shocked as everyone else. I love the guy.”
Other teammates took to Twitter.
