(WGNO) – Jesuit high school middle linebacker Robert Lobrano had 25 combined tackles against Brother Martin, last Saturday. That total included 9 unassisted tackles.

But the honor student is a different person on the field — his words.

“When I am in the zone, I have a different personality,” Lobrano said.

“When he is in the hall, he is normal Joe citizen, so to speak. Stops and helps anybody out. A good big brother to some of our kids,” head coach Mark Songy said about Lobrano.

“(But) when he gets on the field, I get out of his way. I don’t want to be around him. He is a nasty football player. I love every minute of watching him play.”

Lobrano plans to play football at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, a private liberal arts school.
