NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — What a weekend for local soccer teams! In the Division I boys soccer championship, St. Paul’s beat Acadiana 3-0. The Wolves earned their third consecutive state championship.
In the Division I girls soccer championship, Mt. Carmel Academy won 2-1 over Byrd. The Cubs junior Hope Hoffman scored off a rebound with just seconds remaining in the match.
