NEW ORLEANS — Despite the recent death of her father, Janet Jackson will still close out Essence on Sunday.
TMZ reports that there was concern among fans that she might cancel this weekend’s performance after Joe Jackson passed away last week.
TMZ confirmed that Jackson arrived in New Orleans for her Essence performance yesterday.
All “State of the World” concert dates through August remain active as well.
