HAMMOND, La. – The top-seeded Mount Carmel Cubs defeated No. 4 Scotlandville, 55-44 Wednesday in the Girl’s Division I Semi-Final round.
Mount Carmel’s Taylor Wilkins finished with a game-high 26 points and added 12 rebounds. Jessica Runnels finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Mount Carmel now advances to the Division I final where they will face the John Curtis Patriots this Saturday at 2:30 pm at Southeastern Louisiana’s University Center.
