NEW ORLEANS — The FBI New Orleans Division is looking into a couple recent bank robberies.  The cases are the latest to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

The most recent robbery happened Monday afternoon, August 21, at a bank on St. Charles Avenue.

According to the FBI, the suspect, seen in the video above, entered Capital One Bank at 3540 St. Charles about 12:45 p.m. He approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. He fled the location on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as an older black male, approximately 5’ 10” – 6’ 00” tall, medium build, brown eyes, with grey and black hair and a goatee.

He wore a lime green short sleeved shirt with blue writing on the front, tan shorts, and eyeglasses.

The second robbery happened on Friday, July 28, at the New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union at 3840 Canal Street.  According to the FBI, at about 5:30 pm, the robber entered the building and showed a worker a note, demanded cash, and implied he had a gun.

Agents say the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash and jumped a fence behind the building to make his getaway.
