Tuesday, the Louisiana State Supreme Court shot down Governor Bobby Jindal’s school voucher program.
The court ruled it violates the state’s constitution to use public money to pay for private school education.
Jindal pushed the plan through the legislature telling lawmakers and parents that it would allow students to leave failing schools and attend the schools of their choice.
