It’s the only holiday set aside to celebrate math.  It’s Pi Day.  Around the world, every March 14, people celebrate the math symbol pi.  In case you forgot or tried to forget, pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its radius.  If that kind of pi doesn’t tickle your fancy, the kind of pie cooked up by the NOLA Pie Guy will.  WGNO News with a Twist features reporter Wild Bill Wood takes a bite out of the holiday that’s a combination of Christmas and tax day.  And if you’d like to celebrate Pi Day with the Pie Guy, he’s Nathan Winner and he’ll be selling slices of his best at Courtyard Brewery in New Orleans, Saturday afternoon from 3 to 7.
