BELLE CHASSE, La. (WGNO) — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development reported that the Belle Chasse Bridge is currently closed to marine traffic over 39 feet tall as work is underway to repair an electrical issue.
The DOTD appreciates patience, and reminds motorists and watercraft operators to please proceed with caution through the worksite and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
