NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police is investigating a shooting in New Orleans East area, that sent a man to the hospital.
According to the NOPD, just before 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital by EMS but his condition was not released.
No further details are available but the NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
