METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Entergy has restored power to the more than 7,000 customers who suffered an outage Friday afternoon.
Just after 4 p.m. the Entergy map showed more than 7,000 customers were left in the dark. The cause of the outage was unknown but the crews worked quickly to get th power restored to homes and businesses.
The outage has caused traffic to back up on N. Causeway. Almost an hour later, an alert was sent to Entergy customers telling them all power had been restored.
