BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Police say they have found a person of interest in connection with the deaths of two people whose bodies were found early Tuesday morning in a burning apartment in Bossier City.

Firefighters were called around 6 a.m. to the Swan Lake Apartments in the 1600 block of Joey Lane near Shed Road and Swan Lake Road and arrived to find an upstairs unit burning. When firefighters went inside to fight the flames, they found the two bodies.

Police say they are questioning the person of interest and reviewing surveillance video from the apartment complex.

Police are not releasing any information indicating the age or sex of the victims. They say the investigation is ongoing.
