NEW ORLEANS, (WGNO) – Students and Community Leaders at Xavier University gathered on campus Tuesday afternoon to protest the grand jury decision not to prosecute Ferguson Police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
Students held up homemade signs with slogans like, “Hands don’t shoot” and “Black lives matter.”
Seventy-five protesters showed up for the event.
There were no incidents of violence at this protest.
