GRETNA, La. — On Tuesday morning, Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng was joined by Fire Services Director Bryan Adams to announce an outstanding accomplishment by the Lafitte Barataria Crown Point Fire Department.
There are 14 departments statewide that are Class 1. Chief Duet and his department are the very first in the state that, as a volunteer department, to achieve this rating.
