NEW ORLEANS – On Monday, NOPD Chief Ferguson addressed the June 3 Crescent City Connection protest.

Chief Ferguson apologized, saying he was misinformed when he gave his last press conference on the matter. NOPD officers on the scene of the protest were given permission to use tear gas, however, they did not have permission to use the rubber bullets, or stingers.
