NEW ORLEANS — On Thursday afternoon, strong wind sent pieces of the Plaza Tower building to the ground. New Orleans EMS said a bicyclist was hit by at least one piece of the material, and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On Friday afternoon, the City held a press conference to discuss the future of the building.
