METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — It’s been a tough couple of weeks for Louisiana, and certainly a busy time for WGNO in the newsroom, which like many facilities in the community was damaged by catastrophic winds from Hurricane Ida.

So it goes without saying that a surprise visit from musician Amanda Shaw was a welcome break on Labor Day.
