NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A new poll gives us a glimpse at how voters feel about Governor John Bel Edwards’ performance so far.

The University of New Orleans poll found 49% of state voters gave him a positive rating. Thirty-six percent said they disapprove of his job performance.

Meanwhile, 13% of voters stated that they would consider former KKK leader David Duke in the upcoming U.S. Senate primary. Four out of five voters had an unfavorable opinion of Duke.
