NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift may have dominated the Grammy nominations this year, but New Orleans bands received some recognition too.
Terence Blanchard and E Collective’s album “Breathless” was nominated for Best Jazz Instrumental Album.
Jon Cleary’s “GoGo Juice and The Revelers’ “Get Ready” were both nominated for Best Regional Roots Music Album.
The Grammys are scheduled to take place Feb. 15 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. (Read more about the 58th Grammy nominations here.)
