NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The NOPD is asking for help identifying three men who robbed 13 people inside an upscale Uptown restaurant Thursday night.
Police say the suspects, who were wearing masks, entered Patois at 6078 Laurel Street when the night’s last patrons were finishing up. The men then pointed guns at several employees and customers and ordered them to the floor before taking the victims’ phones and wallets.
The armed robbery happened just before 11 p.m.
The NOPD says the suspects fled in a black Kia sedan which was reported stolen earlier this week in New Orleans East. That car was tracked down near the intersection of General Pershing and South Robertson Street. Some of the victims’ property was still inside of the car.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
