NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — When a child is facing a serious illness, sometimes the simplest joys can brighten their difficult days.
That’s the mission of a national organization called Caps for Kids, that was founded right here in New Orleans.
The group takes requests for childrens’ favorite celebrities and does what they can to get those children a ball cap signed by the celebrities themselves!
For Corporate Cap Day, the group encourages folks to wear their favorite hat to work and make a donation to the organization.
If you’re interested in holding your own Corporate Cap Day or other ways you can help out, please visit: www.capsforkids.org.
