Several areas in New Orleans will have low water pressure Wednesday

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The city of New Orleans announced several areas that will have low water pressure Wednesday or Thursday due to road construction.

Wednesday, December 16

Those who work or live in the area of the RTA Streetcar project on N. Rampart Street will experience low water pressure overnight beginning on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at 10 p.m. through Wednesday at 6 a.m.

Those areas are N. Rampart Street between St. Philip Street and Esplanade Avenue, and on Ursulines Avenue between N. Rampart Street and Burgundy Street.

Vinson Enterprise, working for the RTA, will be tying in a new water line in the area.

Those who work or live on Louisiana Avenue between St. Charles Avenue and Camp Street and those who live on Coliseum Street between Louisiana Street and 6th Street will experience low water pressure Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Boh Brothers Construction Company will be performing a tie-in of a new water line that serves the area.

Those who work or live on Prytania Street between Joseph Street and Jefferson Avenue will experience low water from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday. Cajun Construction Company will be performing a tie-in of a new water line that services the area.

Thursday, December 17

On Thursday who work or live on Chestnut Street from Louisiana Avenue until 6th Street will experience low water pressure from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
