NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority announced it will suspend ferry service along the Lower Algiers – Chalmette route on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
According to an RTA media release, the agency will stop service beginning at 9 a.m. due to a mandatory U.S. Coast Guard inspection.
Ferry service along the route will resume once the inspection has concluded.
