NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Not only is it beginning to look a lot like Christmas, it’s beginning to taste like it, too. And the taste is coming right from a cup of coffee.
At PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans, the reason for the season is the flavor of the season. PJ’s coffee roaster Felton Jones is Santa Claus on caffeine. Felton is calling out flavors like Santa calls on his reindeer.
The holiday flavors include Santa’s Blend and Jingle Bells Blend. The flavors mix cinnamon with hazelnut and chocolate. They’ve both become a PJ’s tradition for the holidays.
PJ’s has been roasting coffee in New Orleans since 1978. And it’s a PJ’s tradition to go with the flavor of the moment. For the summer wedding season, PJ’s offers a southern wedding cake blend. For Mardi Gras, PJ’s brews up a king cake coffee concoction.
And now, just in time to serve Santa for Christmas, PJ’s has the flavors for this holiday season.
