UPDATE: The person who was trapped by a gas line rupture at the Entergy plant near Michoud has been rescued has been rescued and is in critical condition. Seven other people were injured in the explosion.
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – One person is trapped at an Entergy plant after a gas explosion this afternoon.
New Orleans Fire Department said firefighters are on the scene. A medical helicopter for Ochsner is also on the scene.
There is no additional information at this time.
