NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)- The first Bayou Classic sanctioned event happened today in New Orleans East in the form of Old School in the Park at Joe Brown park.
Radio station Old School 106.7 teamed up with NORDC to produce the even that started about 10 years ago.
Assistant Program Director Dino Hanson told us, “Give some love to my man LBJ, the man that started Old School in the Park, and we’re doing it out here with NORDC at Joe Brown Park.”
The free day-long family fest included great food and music from Lyle Henderson, Kevin Stylez, and Anthony David.
