NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans police released a photograph of two men who are persons of interest in a murder last month in New Orleans East.

Neither man is a suspect at this time.  But police believe the men may have information about the case.

The murder happened on September 14 in the 8700 block of Morrison Road.  At about 5:00 that evening, police and fire fighters arrived at a car fire at the scene.  After putting out the flames, the body of Louis Perette was found inside it.

Police already released surveillance footage in the case.  It shows one man setting the car on fire and running from the area.

Detectives do not know the names of the persons of interest.  If you can identify them for police, call CrimeStoppers at 504-822-1111.
