NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is currently investigating a homicide in the 9200 block of Airline Highway.
Officers got the call of a man shot at around 5:10 a.m. Friday.
When they arrived on the scene, they found the victim lying in a grassy area next to the railroad tracks.
EMS tried to revive the victim, but he died at the scene.
