NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Roughly a year after 11-year-old Arabian Gayles was shot and killed, at her West Carrollton home, the NOPD announced the arrest of six men in connection with her murder.
Chief Michael Harrison said the shooting was sparked by an armed robbery involving two rival gangs, Gayles was caught in the crossfire.
Police say Chris Arana, 20, Roderick Taylor, 20, and Ronnell Martin, 18, were already behind bars. They will be rebooked with additional charges.
Terry Green, 20, Jacshan Griffin, 18, Jermaine Scott, 19, were arrested.
