NEW ORLEANS – Representatives of the New Orleans Fire Department and University Medical Center’s Burn Unit warn the public about fireworks safety ahead of the July 4th holiday.

With many public fireworks displays and other patriotic events closed due to concerns about the ongoing coronavirus crises, many people are turning to private fireworks displays at their homes.
