NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Causeway Police say a woman was seen walking on the bridge less than a mile from the South Shore around 5 a.m. Saturday.
When an officer tried to get her to safety, she jumped into Lake Pontchartrain.
Despite an intensive search, the woman is still missing.
