NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)   According to the Archdiocese of New Orleans, southern Louisiana will be home to 49 St. Joseph’s Altars over a 10 day period.

With more schools and churches getting involved in the St. Joseph’s Altar, the tradition is beginning to resurface in New Orleans.

All of the Altar’s are held between March 13 and March 22, with the Feast of St. Joseph being March 19.
