NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The seven justices of the Louisiana Supreme Court marched from their French Quarter building to St. Louis Cathedral this morning for the annual Red Mass.

The mass is an annual event for judges, lawyers, and even law school teachers and students in hopes that the Holy Spirit will help them seek justice. The Mass happened at 9 a.m.

It’s a tradition that dates back to the 13th Century.
