KENNER, LA – A student at Bonnabel Magnet Academy High School was arrested for bringing a gun to school, according the JPSO.
The loaded gun was confiscated and 18-year-old Charles Smith was arrested.
Officers say no threats were made, and they do not believe the student planned to use the gun at school.
This investigation remains open.
