NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Guess who’s hosting News With A Twist Friday? Talk show host and political activist Jerry Springer!
Springer will join Susy Roesgen and LBJ Friday, February 5, at 5 and 6 p.m.
Since its launch 5 years ago, News with a Twist has garnered national recognition with its one-of-a-kind style and delivery.
WGNO News Director Rick Erbach says, “Jerry is a national icon of talk television and a Tulane alumnus, who better to kick off Mardi Gras weekend? The Jerry Springer Show and Mardi Gras are very similar, chaos, fun, breathtaking and the unexpected! We have some great segments planned with Jerry.”
Springer will also ride in the Krewe of Endymion parade Saturday night. He was the Grand Marshal of Endymion in 1998.
The Jerry Springer Show, which is celebrating 25 years, can be seen on WNOL –NOLA 38 at 9a and 1p Monday-Friday.
