UPDATE: Jazz Fest announced on Facebook it is opening at 3 p.m.
NEW ORLEANS – Jazz Fest has been delayed due to severe weather concerns.
In a Facebook post just before 9:30 a.m., festival officials confirmed that the doors will not open as scheduled this morning.
The start of the festival has been “delayed until this afternoon,” according to the post.
