NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Friday, the Greater New Orleans AFL- CIO President, “Tiger” Hammond announced the cancellation of the Greater New Orleans AFL-CIO Labor Day picnic.
The event is canceled due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the state, along with the delta variant and the Mayors decision to place further restrictions on the city.
