NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Funeral arrangements are set for NOPD Officer Bryan Bordes, the 18-year NOPD veteran who collapsed and died while working on Bourbon Street early Sunday morning.

A public visitation will be held Friday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home on Washington Avenue.

A public viewing and memorial service will be held Saturday at Household of Faith on I-10 Service Road. The viewing will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The memorial service will begin at 2 p.m.

Immediately following the memorial services, the department will lead a procession to Bordes’ last assignment, the Eighth District. The family will hold a private burial.

The memorial events are open to the public.
